Information
InfoCamp is an unconference for Information and Technology professionals in Seattle. The conference attracts students and professionals to discuss current industry trends and network within our community. The focus on information invites cross polination between the hard core information workers, and the bleeding edge technologists who make it happen.
This year’s theme is the Mad Scientist. Get out there and mix it up.

Thank you everyone for another great InfoCamp
I'm sure that I speak for all the organizers when I say thank you to everyone who came out to InfoCamp Seattle 2011. I'm going to state the obvious here by saying that the event is nothing without the participation of the people who come out... so thanks for coming out :-)

Sunday Lightning Sessions
Have you heard of 20 slides in 5 minutes? Well, on Sunday in Kane Hall we're doing no slides in 5 minutes! Our surprise Sunday morning speaker is YOU! -- 9 of you to be exact.
Join us for a lightning session of mini-presentations to get Sunday morning rolling strong. In keeping with InfoCamp tradition, this is an opt-in activity which will get your ideas, insights, issues, and interests to a wider audience and give them more exposure. We'll have a sign up sheet and sessions will be on a first-come first-presented basis -- although how we run this meta-session is subject to change...

Saturday at 5pm, we'll be heading to the District Lounge within the Hotel Deca at 45th and Brooklyn. If you want to keep the fun going, join us! We have a room reserved, and those under 21 are welcomed and encouraged to come!

Schedule
9am to 5pm, both Saturday and Sunday. We'll have slightly different setups on each day, so check in at the registration table at Mary Gates Hall for a more detailed schedule and information! After hitting up registration (and grabbing all the coffee you can guzzle), head to Kane for our morning activities from 9:30 to 11:30. Everything...

It is our pleasure to be partnering with the University of Washington iSchool this year to bring InfoCamp Seattle to the beautiful U-Dub campus. It's a homecoming of sorts since the genesis for InfoCamp happened during a student led iSchool event a little over 5 years ago. Since then, the iSchool has also been a constant supporter and influence, with many of those involved and participating in InfoCamp heralding from the school.
